Academic Focus

Chinese language and literature, history.

Session

5 weeks.

Venue

Headquartered in Beijing, China. Scheduled travel to Shanghai (orientation); field trips to Xi'an, activities based on cultural history course.

Living Arrangements

Students live in host institution dormitories, program-owned apartments, hotels. Quarters are shared with host institution students. Meals are taken as a group, in residences.

Requirements

Minimum age 17; open to precollege students, freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors; 2.0 GPA; students are required to obtain a visa at their own expense; must take extensive Mandarin Chinese language course for 5 credits.
